FAMILY.

Man, that’s a loaded word right there, isn’t it?

Some of us are born with family who we love and who love us.

Some of us are closer to those with whom we purposefully surround ourselves.

Some of us are lucky enough to have both biological family and friends who have become family.

And some of us, especially at this time of year, feel as though we have neither of those things.

To all of you who feel this way, please know that you have me. You have us. You have a community of people who may not know you irl, but who know and care about you for who you are in our little world – and to whom you are very important.

So…happy holidays, my dears. You are, each and every one of you, part of the family I carry in my heart every day of the year.
